Reporting a problem with a tool

Every tool page also has a “Something not working? Report it” link right under the tool — that's the fastest route, since it tells us exactly which tool broke. Either way, three details help us fix things quickly:

• Which tool and what you were trying to do
• Your browser and device (e.g. Chrome on Windows, Safari on iPhone)
• What happened versus what you expected

Because the tools process everything locally in your browser, we never see your files — so a rough description of the file (type and size) helps too.
